The week that I have just returned from in Bali was nothing short of incredible. I’ve known Edde for almost all of my life, so to be invited to capture his wedding was more honour than opportunity. But this week, was out of this world. Sudi’s heritage lies in an incredible family, steeped in Balinese heritage and custom, set beside two imposing volcano’s in a little village in the heartland of Kintamani. Over four days, I was privileged enough to share in several ceremonies leading to the release of Sudi from Hindu culture, free to marry Edde in their shared Christian faith. I sat alongside Edde & Sudi’s family, in their village, welcomed into their home where I shared in their culture, their incredible food, beautiful family and traditions, as they honoured Edde & Sudi, before heading to Ketewel, on Bali’s southern coastline to again share in their joy with their family and closest friends from Indonesia, Australia and beyond. Here’s a few images to get the ball rolling… This story is beautiful, genuine, honest and incredible. More to come, but for now…
Take a look…
