Two Thousand & Sixteen… As I Saw It

One thing I have found myself saying so much this year, is that you can’t fake it. It’s either real, or it’s not. No in between, no ‘kind of genuine’. Once again, I’ve spent the year striving to stay true to who I am, shooting the way I shoot and seeing things, the way I see them, connecting with people the way that feels right. I’ve captured a body of work including incredible weddings, memories for wonderful families and I’ve continued to forge meaningful, ongoing relationships with commercial clients, with whom, as a team, we have worked together to create imagery that defines brand, captures culture and reflects the heart of their people, shaping the visual language of who they are as a company, school, university or organisation. Again, for me, I truly believe it’s about so much more than capturing great images, it’s heart and soul. Here’s a bit of a snapshot of some of the things I saw throughout the year… No particular order, by no means exhaustive, just a bit of a look. I’m thankful for the year that we’ve had, and I’m looking forward to so much more of it in two thousand and seventeen…
