Two Thousand & Thirteen. As I saw it…

This year has been one of the biggest I’ve experienced. I’ve been challenged, I’ve been pushed to my limits, and as I’ve realised… Beyond my limits. I’ve experienced incredible joy as we welcomed our beautiful blessing Frankie Lane into the world, completing our little family of five. I also experienced the absolutely crushing loss of my completely incredible Father… My hero, taken brutally, and long before his time. I’ve experienced grief and joy… Coexisting. I’ve built and nurtured relationships and I have been given the complete honour of seeing people, seeing relationships, seeing other peoples lives… The way that I see them. People have been trusting and gracious in allowing me in to their lives to capture them, the way that I learn to know them. The way that I see and feel their special moments, their incredible weddings, beautiful children, unique relationships. For that, I am eternally grateful. This year, I’ve taken a lot of images… And travelled half way around this beautiful planet doing it. These aren’t necessarily ‘the best’, nor are they ‘my favourites’, they aren’t in any order… they’re just part of my year. My year shared with people that I am completely thankful for. I can’t wait to see what next year will lay out… A brand new story to be told.
