A little while ago, I was privileged enough to spend an afternoon with the Thorncraft & Smith family. An afternoon I cherished. An afternoon that allowed me to capture some special moments and memories.
When Victoria contacted me recently about spending some time with her family… she mentioned that this was an especially difficult time, as her father, Gary, had recently been diagnosed with cancer. So, one Sunday afternoon, we grabbed what happened to be the single few hours of dry weather we had seen for the previous week and we spent an afternoon by the lake at Narrabeen. I left feeling uplifted and encouraged. I left feeling truly privileged. Privileged to have been able to spend a couple of hours, capturing what you see here.
Family.
As always, people that support, love and care for one another. Family that stands in the face of what so many others have before them and says: “Let’s get on with it. Together.”
Sandra and Gary, Ian and Jacki, Victoria and Jamie… and little Harry and Logan… Thank you. You guys are genuine, caring and honest. And I know as difficult as this time is, you’ll nail it together.
Take a look…
